360 leadership survey - A 360° Leadership Effectiveness Evaluation
Our 360 degree leadership survey is a multi-rater assessment of an
individual's leadership behavior, practices, and skills. This survey may
be used for building an individual professional development plan and/or
as a performance management tool. 12-16 surveys are completed anonymously
with scores and written comments by groups that can include self, supervisors,
peers, associates, and direct reports. Additionally, we recommend that
a follow-up survey be completed 6 to 12 months after the initial benchmark
to illustrate the candidate's progress and create accountability for change.
We have defined the following four strategic steps as crucial for a successful 360 leadership survey process:
- Obtain assistance in selection of raters and the establishment of confidentiality and administration guidelines
- Distribution, collection and report generation
- Professional feedback with action steps and coaching program design
- Coaching activities and follow-up
